Celia has dedicated her professional career to community organizing, corporate social responsibility and student affairs. Before joining Amazon Aid, Celia was the associate director of the Tom Tom Founders Festival, in Charlottesville, VA. She identified a diverse range of disciplines and engaged the city in high-impact events with the mission of leaving lasting legacies and new collaboration. Ultimately, branding the region as a hub for innovation.
Celia was a student affairs professional both at Harvard and the University of Virginia. She helped create residential environments that supported the social and academic development of undergraduates. In addition to advising students and residential staff, she oversaw diversity, self-care, and active bystander trainings.
Celia received her MBA from Simmons College in Boston, where she focused on corporate social responsibility and organizational behavior. In business school, she was an active member of Net Impact and interned at Eileen Fisher, a clothing company dedicated to human rights and sustainability. Celia received her BA in English from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
A life-long New Englander, Celia has been exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Along with her husband, Ben, and their two children Lila (9) and Simon (7), Celia enjoys traveling the globe and ensuring a healthy planet for future generations.
